By Staff Report-

According to a statement on the Kosciusko County Community Fair Facebook page this week, renovations are being made to what was once called Warsaw Speedway.
According to the social media release, “the people of this community have spoken and the KCCF Board have listened. Warsaw Motorsports Complex is underway! The backstretch wall and bleachers have been moved back. Clay is being brought in for the track’s surface. More updates to follow.”
The widely-popular Warsaw Speedway closed in 1990 after decades of family-friendly, Saturday night entertainment.
During the 2015 county fair, the track hosted 600cc mini sprints and junior sprints, and there was a large crowd on hand to see the first race in 25 years.
According to the statement on Facebook, the KCCF Board is currently planning on 600 micro sprints, winged and non-winged, and junior sprints to race at the track.
The races will be held on Friday nights.[[In-content Ad]]
