The Edgewood seventh grade girls volleyball team won its 2013 opening tournament Saturday at West Side Middle School in Elkhart. 
The Lady Tigers defeated North Side Middle School (25-13, 18-25, 15-5), then in the championship round, Edgewood defeated West Side (25-22, 25-10.
