NORTH WEBSTER – The North Webster Lions Club is planning a day full of events on July 25 after the annual Mermaid Festival was cancelled due to COVID-19.

On the line up are garage sales, a flea market and a food court.

A power wheel race is scheduled for noon for ages 12 and younger, with registration from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Children who want to participate can bring their own power wheel or use one of the Lions’ power wheels.

A demolition derby is also scheduled to start at 6 p.m., with registration at 5 p.m.

To reserve a garage sale, flea market or food vendor space for $20, call 574-834-4316 or 574-528-0206 and leave a message. The cost for the demolition derby is $30, and the power wheel race is free.
