Tippecanoe Vally High School, in cooperation with the Valley athletic department, has announced the beginning of fundraising efforts for the family of Jeff Shriver.

Shriver, a former TVHS head football coach and current assistant coach, is battling cancer. The funds raised will be used to help offset his medical costs.

Valley Legend T-shirts will be on sale for $15 Tuesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and also Wednesday during the Valley wrestling meet against Peru from 6 to 8 p.m., according to information posted on the TVHS Facebook page.

Also, Shriver Strong wristbands will be given out with any monetary donation.

Those interested in taking part should enter through the main entrance of the high school and proceed to the  commons area.

There will be 200 T-shirts available in various sizes. Orders will be taken on site if the size needed is sold out.
