Recognizing that in tougher economic times it’s hard enough to put healthy food on the table for families, One Dog At A Time Rescue is helping to provide food to pets.

One Dog At A Time is working in conjunction with Combined Community Services and the Senior Citizen Center to provide pet food for their approved patrons.

One Dog At A Time Rescue, working with HOPE for Animals in Fort Wayne, is still offering a low-cost spay/neuter clinic the third Thursday of every month.

For pet owner’s convenience, pets will be picked up and dropped off in Warsaw at the local Big R parking lot.

“This is a really great opportunity to have your dog or cat neuter/spayed and kept up to date on their vaccines at the same time and even microchipped in a very cost-effective, safe, reliable way,” said Julie Smith of One Dog At A Time.

One Dog At A Time Rescue is accepting dog and cat food donations. The rescue is willing to pick up food. Monetary donations also are accepted.  Those interested can send the monetary/gift card donations to: ODTR, P.O. Box 76, Warsaw, IN 46581.

Donations also can be given through www.odtr.org and using the Paypal link. Donations should note that the donation is for the “ODTR Pet Food Pantry.”
