Notice of Public Hearing

    Notice Is Hereby Given, That The Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission Shall Hold A Public Hearing On A Petition Filed by Joseph Bontrager Requesting An Amendment To the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance, To Reclassify From a Residential to an Agricultural District, The Following Real Estate, located on South Side of 1300 Nand 500' East of Old SR 15 Key Number: 027-034-021.B in Van Buren Township.

    And Described As Follows To Wit:

    Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, together with part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, all being in Township 34 North, Range 6 East, Kosciusko County, Indiana (This description prepared by Kevin R. Michel, LS80870006, as part of retracement survey RI-146 completed by J.K. Walker and Associates, P.C., dated July 22, 2020), all together being more particularly described as follows, to wit:

    BEGINNING at an iron pipe found at the Northeast comer of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 9, said iron pipe also being at the Northwest comer of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 9; thence N89°-23' -40"'E (basis of bearings for this description is a deed bearing of N90°-00'-00"E for the North line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 9) (recorded N89°-53' -35"E), on and along the North line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 9, being within the right-of-way of County Road 1300, a distance of 26.00 feet (recorded 26.08 feet), to a P .K. nail found at the Northwest comer of a certain 15.506 acre tract of land recorded in Document Number 200500000710 in the records of Kosciusko County, Indiana; thence S00º-05'-35"W (recorded S00°-42'-I7''W), on and along the West line of said 15.506 acre tract of land, a distance of 505.41 feet to the Northeast corner  of Lot Number 2 in the Plat of Milford Woods Addition as recorded in Plat Book 14, page 15 in said records, said comer being situated 1.5 feet West of and 0.1 feet South of an iron pin found; thence S89°-14'-08"W (recorded S89°-53'- 35"W), on and along the North line of said Lot Number 2t and on and along the North line of a certain tract of land recorded in Document Number 2009050156 in said records, and on and along a North line of Lot Number 1 in said Plat of Milford Woods Addition, a distance of 621.86 feet to an iron pin found at the Southeast comer of the Plat of Mikado Woods Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 11, page 70 in said records; thence N00º-06'-33"W, on and along the East line of said Plat of Mikado Woods Subdivision, a distance of 513.44 feet (recorded 505.36 feet), to a P.K. nail found at the Northeast comer of said Plat of Mikado Woods Subdivision., said P.K. nail also being on the North line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 9; thence N900-00'-00"E, on and along said North line, being within the right-of-way of County Road 1300N, a distance of 597.59 feet to the point of beginning, containing 7.28 acres of land, more or less, subject to legal right-of-way for County Road 1300N, subject to all legal drain easements and all other easements of record.

    This Change Is Requested To Permit the Above Described Real Estate to Be Used For The Purpose of Agricultural Uses as defined in the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance

    This Hearing Will Be Held in the Commissioners Room in the Kosciusko County Court House, 100 W Center St., Warsaw In On Wednesday, December 2, 2020 At 1:00 P.M.

    All Interested Persons Are Invited To Attend To Be Heard. Written Comments Will Be Considered lf They Are Received In The Office Of The Kosciusko County Planning Department, Court House, Warsaw, Indiana, No Later Than 12:00 Noon On The Day Of The Hearing.
