    Andrew Mevis, WCHS ’17, Warsaw, Fordham, and Iowa State place kicker, will be spending the next 4 ½ weeks preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime shot at the NFL. Mevis was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars almost immediately following the 2022 NFL Draft.

    Manchester University junior distance runner Enrique Salazar is set to compete at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships this weekend Geneva, Ohio. Salazar will compete in the 10,000m which is slated to be held on Thursday May 26 at 9:15 p.m. This year’s championships will be held at the SPIRE Institute.

    In its first year as a USA Ultimate-sanctioned program, the Grace College Ultimate team advanced to Nationals after securing its bid by placing first at the Division III Great Lakes Regional tournament at The Plex in Fort Wayne on May 1. Nationals will take place May 21-23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

    For the first time in Manchester University Men's Track & Field history, the Spartans claimed a sweep of both the indoor and outdoor Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference titles. After winning the 2022 HCAC Indoor Championship back in February, the Black & Gold completed their sweep by winning the 2022 HCAC Outdoor Championship on Saturday at Hanover College.

    For the first time since 2016, the Manchester University women's track & field program claimed a sweep of both the indoor and outdoor Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference titles. After winning the 2022 HCAC Indoor Championship back in February, the Black & Gold completed their sweep by winning the 2022 HCAC Outdoor Championship on Saturday.
