Wednesday, April 6, 2022 10:57 PM
One Warsaw, a 501(c)3, announced the third annual Celebrating-Us downtown Warsaw event will be from 4 to 8 p.m. April 30.
It will include information booths, food trucks, live music and cultural dances and be a “wonderful celebration of inclusion” in the community, according to a news release from the organization.
The second annual event was online due to COVID.
ONE Board Treasurer Heather Lardino said, “It’s time to celebrate our differences and experience other cultural traditions including food, dancing, and music!”
ONE Vice President Roberto Perez-de-Frias said, “When we celebrate our differences and what we share, we open the door for a more diverse and inclusive environment. As author Andres Tapia wrote, ‘Diversity is the mix. Inclusion is making the mix work.’ Let’s celebrate us and make the mix work!”
