Wawasee’s Vocal Motion reaches for the stars during rehearsals for the Pops Show 2019.
SYRACUSE – Wawasee High School Choir Director Connie Meadows is retiring from public school teaching in June, but not before going on a “Time Warp” in May.

The Wawasee High School Choirs will be presenting its Pops Show 2019 titled “Time Warp Evolution” at 7:30 p.m. May 3 and 4 in the high school auditorium.

Emcees for the show are Isiah Faurote, Elmer J. Kirkpatrick, Fannie Smith and Macie Stuckman.

Meadows said the department has been working very hard to present this show, which “is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. There will be many of your favorite songs from different time eras.”

The award-winning Vocal Motion will perform their championship show “Space Travel and Planets.”

Tickets are for $8 for adults, $6 for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and $4 for preschool.  Seating is reserved. Checks should be made out to Wawasee High School Choirs.

Meadows will continue to teach private voice and piano at her studio in Warsaw.  She is also starting her business, Connie’s Creative Designs, helping her son, Jeremy, expand his business, and she is writing the book she always wanted to write.
