Editor, Times-Union:

Being a senior citizen and on a fixed income, I would like to thank the Biden administration for doing a great job.

For me, staying on a diet was very hard until Mr. Biden was elected. Before President Biden, I had three meals a day and snacks between meals and a lot of ice cream. Now with inflation at a 40-year high and food prices with inflation through the roof, I barely have two meals. I can’t remember the last time I ate any meat.

Before President Biden, once a week, I would visit my 92-year-old aunt in her nursing home. I hate to say that with gas prices as high as they are, I may only see her every other month.

I like wearing name-brand clothes, but now I buy them at Goodwill.

I’m embarrassed to say, but I’m becoming a hoarder. When I go shopping the shelves are mostly bare, so if they have what I need, I no longer buy one but two or maybe three.

Even though I have problems, I still want to thank Mr.?Biden.
