Sanitary Sewer Pride
Monday, October 17, 2022 1:00 AM
Editor, Times-Union:
Those of us who worked behind the scenes have reason to be proud of the page one story this week regarding the Tippecanoe/Chapman Lakes sanitary sewer project progress.
According to the story, the more than $51 million project, said to be one of the largest in the state, is moving along slightly ahead of schedule. It is a massive undertaking, one that will reap conservation benefits for a hundred years into the future. The board of directors need to stand with pride for the tough work they have done and are doing.
We’ve said before in this forum how proud we are of the steps our county officials have taken in recent years to put Kosciusko County on a very solid path to the future.
Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen, you are doing well.
