Editor, Times-Union:

It gives me great pleasure to support Travis McConnell for prosecutor. Travis has served our community well.  Travis always goes the extra mile, both professionally and for our community. He takes the job of fighting for his clients very seriously.

Travis’s motto is “The Client’s Champion.” Travis says that the main reason he loves what he does is because he’s able to fight for his client and can “level the playing field” when necessary. Travis represents his clients! As an attorney in Warsaw, he has served both the private sector and as a public defender. He has represented countless victims of wrong-doings, resulting in both injuries and death. Travis fights for those who cannot fight for themselves.

In addition to serving our community as an attorney, Travis has also impacted Kosciusko County in many other ways as a community volunteer. He has been the main driving force behind One Warsaw Festival and the Juneteenth celebration - events that have brought our community together. He is a member of the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club where he’s always willing to lend a hand in their community outreach. Travis faithfully served on the Board of Directors of the Beaman Home for several years. Other present and past affiliations include: Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Merit Board, Northern Indiana Maternal Child Health Network, YAP, WCDC, First Friday, and Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and The American Association for Justice. Travis was recognized with the National Trial Lawyers 40 under 40 Award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. In addition, Travis received the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce 2020 Young Adult Professional of the Year Award.

As you can see, Travis has given of his time and talents to help make Kosciusko County a better place to live. Please consider joining me in supporting Travis in his campaign to become our next prosecuting attorney!
