Editor, Times-Union:

I am writing this letter in support of Tony Ciriello for County Council. It has been my experience working along side Tony at numerous community events and functions that he can handle situations with grace, professionalism and common sense. Tony has worked tirelessly for our community for many years in several capacities. This experience is critical for the Council.

One of my concerns with Scott Clay is, as a Republican he endorsed a Democratic opponent in the last election. Please see letters to the editor InkFree News dated October 26, 2020 at 3:29 p.m. Also, I, along with many others, received in the mail a detailed letter that explained some interesting business ventures with Mr. Clay. This is disturbing to me and I question his motivation for the position.

I want someone with stones that I can count on to stand up for taxpayers to do the right thing when hard issues come before the council.

Additionally, I would encourage you to support Jim Smith for sheriff. I have known Jim for many years. He is fair, honest, capable, hard working, he possesses common sense. Join me in voting for Tony and Jim.
