Tamara D. ‘Tami’ Holloway

ROCHESTER – Tamara D. “Tami” Holloway 59, Rochester, passed away at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1962, in Rochester, the daughter of David and Patricia L. Overlander Thompson. On Feb. 27, 1982 in Rochester, she married Thomas F. Holloway and he survives.
Tami had worked for the Fulton County Public Library for over 24 years serving as head of the audio visual department. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas F. Holloway, Rochester; children: Jessica (Rick) Prater, Plymouth; Brittlyn (Troy) Mow, Warsaw; Candace (Josh) Zehner, Rochester; grandchildren: Benson Prater, Karsyn Prater, both of Plymouth; Lyla Mow, Warsaw; Alayna Carpenter, Hadley Zehner, David Zehner, Malcolm Zehner, all of Rochester; and two special little girls; mother, Patricia Zeyen, Rochester; siblings: Rick (Jennifer) Thompson, Rochester; Chris (Kelli) Hooks, Rochester; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law: Mark (Danette) Holloway, Palm Beach, Fla.; Tina (Eddie) McKee, Rochester; Chris (Hollie) Holloway, Rochester; many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, David and Saralie Thompson; brother, Gregory Thompson; stepfather, Al Zeyen; and father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Mary Ellen Holloway.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery, Rochester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 36 Scholarship Fund.
