BOURBON – Martha “Cathy” C. Long, age 67, of Warsaw, passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021.

Cathy was born the daughter of Andrew and Avis Hill Scarberry on May 28, 1953, at McArthur, Ohio, and she has been a resident of this area all her life.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked as a CNA. In her spare time, she loved to sew, read, make quilts and play cards. She also played bingo and had a green thumb for flowers and indoor plants.

Those who will miss her smile are her son, David (Stephanie) Long, of Tippecanoe; and her daughter, Katy (Jay) Kreft, Shawnee, Okla. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren: David Long, Emmille Long, Audrey (Kyley) Walker, Belle (Bradley) Daverede, Thayer Kreft, Devon Kreft, Cambrie Kreft, Kyler Kreft, Easton Kreft, Sandria Kreft and Calder Kreft; six great-grandchildren; and brothers: David (Denise) Scarberry, of Skyline, Ala.; and Jim (Becky) Scarberry, of Bourbon, along with many nieces and nephews who survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild, Foster Long; sister, Sharon Hensley; and brothers:?Cliff and Pete Scarberry.

Friends may gather at Grace Fellowship Church, 18575 Ind. 331, Tippecanoe, IN 46570, for a viewing on Tuesday, January 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with a service following.
