James L. Doyle, age 84, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 9:22 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born on July 21, 1934, in Tolono, Ill., to Bernard M. and Helen M. Mathews Doyle. On Sept. 8, 1962, he was united in marriage to Katherine L. Zeiger in Bremen.

James faithfully served his country in the United States Army.

During his life, he worked at Dalton Foundry as a supervisor. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. In addition, he was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Scoutmaster.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine L. Doyle of Warsaw; sons: Christopher L. (Mary Sorg) Doyle of Churubusco; Stephen M. (Melissa Severe) Doyle of Crawfordsville; Thomas E. (Patricia Kenney) Doyle of High Point, N.C.; and Tony J. (Faith Drawbaugh) Doyle of Warsaw; daughter, Marcella L. Doyle of Chicago, Ill.; sisters: Connie Keirns of Van Wert, Ohio; Diane Hash of Pierceton; and Susan Klepac of Mount Clemens, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, including Adam, Sarah, Rachel, Brittany (Robert Yoder), Cassandra, Alex, Sean, Eva, Easton (Haley Smith), Dawn Emery and Kyle Huddleston; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Father Jonathan Norton will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
