ROCHESTER – Gladys Bird, 90, Rochester, died at 12:32 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Lifecare Center, Rochester.

Catherine Gladys Harrison was born on July 30, 1930, in Norfolk, Va., to Willie Thomas and Irene Lawrence Harrison.  

On Nov. 19, 1983, Gladys and Ronald C. Bird were married in Knoxville, Tenn.  They shared 38 years of life's adventures.  

A celebration of the life of Gladys Bird will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. A Lion's Club memorial service will be held at 12:45 p.m. Gladys' family will receive friends at 11 a.m. until the time of the services. Garry A. Harling will officiate.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17  in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
