Gene Arthur Hapner, 79, North Manchester, died at 6:01 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born July 22, 1941, in North Manchester, to Hugo Carl and Florence Pauline Grossnickle Hapner.

Funeral services will be at a later date. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.

The family of Gene Hapner has entrusted McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with final arrangements.
