Donald R. Frush of Warsaw went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 10:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 83.

He was born on April 21, 1935, in Warsaw, to Roberta Evelyn Hartman Frush and Vivian Rulo Frush. On July 22, 2003, he was married to Realis Keffaber, who survives.

Donald was a 1953 graduate of Warsaw High School and a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church since he was in the third grade, and he was also a Stephen Ministry Servant.

From 1968 to 1978 he worked in the engineering department of Sun Metal Products in Warsaw; from 1978 to 1999 he was an engineer at Chore-Time in Milford, and from 1999 to 2003 an engineer at Paragon Medical in Pierceton and Spartech Plastics in Warsaw.

Donald loved convertibles and dirt bikes, but most of all he loved his family. In his 83 years of life he made many friends with people he worked with and his church family —he will be dearly missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 years, Realis Frush, Winona Lake; two sons, Stephen Frush, Warsaw, and Michael (Pam) Frush, Bloomfield; stepson, Brian (Deborah) Keffaber, Wabash; two daughters, Kathleen (Tony) Perry, Warsaw, and Jennifer (Scott) Hoeppner, Prosper, Texas; and stepdaughter, Rhonda (Scott) LaVelle, Valparaiso. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Maralee, Tara, Sara, Isaac, Joel, Chase, Jessica, Sam, Amanda and Nathan; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Betty) Frush, Winona Lake; and two sisters, Margret (Bob) Miller, Burket, and Carol (Web) Slaymaker, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Earl Frush; and a grandson, Austin Hoeppner.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 13, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. His funeral service will follow immediately at noon, officiated by Dr. Erik Ohman.

A private graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
