Bonnie grew up in Kosciusko County, where she was a 1967 graduate of Warsaw High School and an active member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw for over 40 years. She worked for a number of years at Climate Control in Leesburg as the accounts receivable and payables manager, and most recently, she had worked for 15 years at DePuy in Warsaw in receivables and compliance, retiring in 2014.
Bonnie kept active and enjoyed being a member and was past matron of the Leesburg Order of the Eastern Star and was involved in a Wednesday Quilting Club at Leesburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and was a very talented quilter. Most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother and will be forever loved and dearly missed by her family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Thomas “Tom” Moore, Leesburg; daughter, Abby (Josh) Garner, Leesburg; five grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and her daughter, Jessica Kaufman, in 2003.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Bonnie’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service that will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, and officiated by the Rev. Brian Smith. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
