Bonetha 'Bonnie' Rider

SYRACUSE – Bonetha "Bonnie" Rider, 93, of New Paris, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen.
She was born on July 26, 1927, in Bluffton, to Arthur and Mary Bailey McClennan. On Aug. 5, 1944, she married Gilford Rider, who preceded her in 2010.
She was a longtime member of the Peoples Bible Church in Benton.
Bonnie is survived by her two sons: Clifford (Ruth) Rider, of Leesburg; Bruce (Marjorie) Rider, of Goshen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Shelvya Bauer, of Hicksville, Ohio; and Doris Carson, of Wolf Lake.
Along with her husband, she was preceded by her parents and one brother.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 7 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, followed by a graveside service at Salem Cemetery in Wilmot.
