Senior midfielder Rylee Burns scored one goal (46th minute) and earned assists for each of the other three Tiger scores.

Senior midfielder Macy Wayne’s goal (58’) made the most significant statement with respect to Warsaw’s offensive teamwork, testimony to how effectively the host side has been moving the ball in 2022.

Bonnie Hampton, Lola Pepper, and Abby Kohler respectively worked the ball crisply left to right. Kohler found Burns crashing from the right hitting Wayne in turn.

“The team is moving the ball quickly across the pitch,” Warsaw head coach Jon Hoover remarked. “They're finding people in the spaces we need to find them. That goal is the result of everyone working hard so that the actual goal being scored is easy work. It’s fun to see them really work hard, and the person scoring just puts the icing on the cake because everyone did everything else to set it up.”

Lola Pepper (13’, assist Burns) scored Warsaw’s first goal, and Sarah Kratzsch (64’) punctuated Warsaw’s offensive attack.

Defenders Jordan Love, Zoe Bergan, Paige Smythe, and Kaiden Pepper stifled the Panthers’ offense, allowing no shots on goal in the first half. NorthWood’s offense rarely advanced past the center line.
