Warsaw at Goshen
GOSHEN – Warsaw remains undefeated in the Northern Lakes Conference after defeating Goshen on the road Thursday, winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-8). The Tigers are now 9-3 this fall, 2-0 in the NLC.
History was made in the match as senior Avery Hales dished out assist number 3,000 for her career. Hales would have 35 assists in the game. Ellie Hepler and Kaylee Weeks each had four aces. Weeks also added nine kills.
Warsaw’s next contest comes Tuesday at home against Northridge.
Maconaquah at Tippecanoe Valley
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley dropped a hard fought match against Three Rivers Conference foe Maconaquah Thursday, falling 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 21-25, 13-15). The Lady Vikings are now 3-5, 1-2 in the TRC. Tippy Valley is back in action Tuesday at North Miami.
Plymouth at Wawasee
SYRACUSE – Wawasee volleyball opened up NLC play with a 3-0 loss to Plymouth Thursday. The Warriors are now 8-3, and play their next game Thursday against Goshen.
Bluffton at Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester was on the losing side of a nonconference matchup Thursday, falling 3-2 (26-24, 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 10-15) at home. The Lady Squires are now 4-8 this fall.
Olivia Neal led all Manchester players with 10 kills. Aliala Atienza had seven aces, while Paxton Baker had 35 digs. Manchester plays its next game Tuesday at Columbia City.
Whitko at North Miami
DENVER, Ind. – Whitko continued a very strong start to its season with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-14) victory over North Miami. The Lady ‘Cats are now 8-1 this season, and play their next game on the road at Peru Tuesday.
Lakeland Christian at Granger Christian
GRANGER – Lakeland Christian won its third game in a row Thursday night, defeating Granger Christian 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-20) on the road. The Cougars are now 3-6 this season.
Boys Soccer
Maconaquah at Tippecanoe Valley
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley is still searching for its first TRC win of the season after falling 3-2 to Maconaquah at home Thursday. The Vikings are now 3-3, 0-3 in the TRC.
Gio Arriaga and Christian Ramirez scored the two Tippy Valley goals. Ty Jones made eight saves in one half of goalkeeping. The Vikings are back in action at home Monday against North Miami.
Columbia City at Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER – Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard Thursday as Manchester and Columbia City settled for a 0-0 tie. The Squires are now 5-1-1 this season.
Kolby Haecker made 19 saves in net to keep the game scoreless. Manchester travels to Rochester Tuesday.
Lakeland Christian at Argos
ARGOS – Lakeland Christian fought hard but was unable to find an equalizer after an early goal, falling 1-0 to Argos Thursday. The Cougars are now 1-5 and take on Blackhawk Christian Tuesday.
Girls Soccer
Warsaw at Homestead
FORT WAYNE – Warsaw settled for a scoreless tie on the road against Homestead Thursday, as the two teams finished with a 0-0 score line after 80 minutes. The Tigers are now 4-2-2 and play their next game Saturday at Argos.
Manchester at Huntington North
HUNTINGTON – Manchester suffered a loss on the road Thursday, falling to nonconference foe Huntington North 5-0. The Lady Squires are now 2-4-1 and play their next game against Wabash Tuesday.
Girls Golf
Tippecanoe Valley/Rochester/Maconaquah at Southwood
WABASH – Tippecanoe Valley took second place in a four-way conference match Thursday, shooting a 174. The finish brings the team’s record to 17-1 this fall, tying the school record for wins. Madelyn Weaver paced all Lady Vikings with a 36.

Plymouth at Warsaw
WARSAW – Warsaw picked up a conference victory over Plymouth Thursday, beating the visitors 3-2. Warsaw’s Ted Grandon showed fight in the No. 2 singles spot, coming back after losing his first set 4-6 to win the next two 6-1, 6-1. Keller Bailey also picked up a singles win for the Tigers.
