Lady Tigers Win Four-Team Match At Stonehenge

WINONA?LAKE?– The Warsaw girls golf team came in first place in a four-team meet that included Triton and Lakeland Christian on Thursday at Stonehenge Golf Club.

The Tigers had a team score of 193, with Grayson Kilburn medaling with a 46. Madelyn Ray shot a 47, while Izzy Ray and Julia Hildebrand shot 50s and Miriam Hagg had a 56.

Warsaw also won the JV?meet. Anna Morgan shot a 49, while Marie Frazetta, Delaney Byron and Izzie Vantwoud had 50s. Brooklyn Fitzgerald finished with a 66.

The Tigers will host Huntington North on Wednesday at Stonehenge Golf Club.

Manchester Wins TRC Match Over Peru

NORTH?MANCHESTER – The?Manchester girls golf team bested Peru 191-218 in a Three Rivers conference girls golf match Thursday at Sycamore Golf Course.

Sam Kissell medaled with a nine-over-par score of 45, while Cora Barnett shot a 48. Alissa Bickerstaff shot a personal low with a 49, while Kelsey Eichenauer also had 49s and Morgan Stroud scored a 57. The top four scores were taken for a 191.

The Squires (3-0) will play in the Wabash County Tournament at 8 a.m.?Saturday at Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash.

Valley Competes Against Lady Norsemen

ROCHESTER – Tippecanoe Valley had two golfers compete against Northfield in a Three Rivers Conference match Thursday at Round Barn Golf Course.

Chaney Canada shot a 63, while Sara Kelly had a 69 for a two-person score of 132.

Northfield’s Emma Wynn medaled with a 48, while the team shot a 202.

The?Vikings will play again Monday in a four-team meet hosted by Plymouth High?School.

Lady Warriors 2nd

SYRACUSE – The Wawasee girls golf team defeated three teams in a four-team meet Wednesday at South Shore Golf Club.

Wawasee posted a team score of 194, while Churubusco shot a 201, West Noble had a 204 and Whitko finished with a 226.

Bailey Wright shot a 54 for Whitko, while Erin Starkweather shot a 56 and Guinny Garr and Gus Garr each scored a 58.

West Noble’s Hannah Godfrey was the match medalist, scoring a 40.

Whitko will host Maconaquah on Monday.
