The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association all-state teams were announced Monday, honoring a handful of local athletes. Warsaw’s Dennis Hernandez-Martinez led the pack, being named first team all-state. Hernandez-Martinez scored two goals for the Tigers this season, one in the regional semifinal game against Noblesville, to go along with playing some of the toughest defense in the state.

Warsaw’s Roberto Sanchez and Tippecanoe Valley’s Jonathon Ruiz were named as honorable mentions. On the girls side, Warsaw’s Jordan Love was named as an honorable mention. The Times-Union would like to congratulate each of these athletes for fantastic seasons.
