Manchester at Wabash County Tournament
Manchester had its six game win streak snapped in the championship game of the Wabash County Tournament to Wabash, 55-47. The Squires are now 7-2 this season.
Gavin Betten carried most of the offensive load for his team, scoring 23 points. Tyler McLain finished second on the team with seven points. Manchester is back in action Friday at North Miami in a Three Rivers Conference showdown.
Tippecanoe Valley at LaPorte Tournament.
The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings got back to their winning ways in the second game of the LaPorte Tournament Thursday night, defeating Lowell 74-35. The Vikings are now 6-3.
It was a very balanced offensive attack for Valley with four players scoring in double figures. Nolan Cumberland led the team with 20 points, followed closely by Tayde Kiser’s 18. Cooper Walls (12 points) and Stephen Akase (10 points) rounded it out.
Valley rounded out tournament play Friday with a 59-52 win over Hanover Central. The Vikings return to action Friday when the team hosts Northfield.
Wawasee at Wawasee Tournament
Wawasee picked up a dominant win in the opening round of their holiday tournament Friday afternoon, defeating Trinity Greenlawn 50-16.

Tippecanoe Valley at PSM Holiday Shootout
Tippecanoe Valley split its two games at the PSM Holiday Shootout held at Trine University Thursday. The Lady Vikings picked up a 64-19 win over West Noble in the first game before falling 67-32 to 4A No. 6 Fort Wayne Northrop. Tippy Valley is now 13-3.
Kaydence Mellott combined for 43 points in the two games, going for 20+ in both contests. Lily Ault scored 21 points in game one. The Lady Vikings travel to Northfield Thursday for a Three Rivers Conference matchup.
Manchester at Wabash County Tournament
Manchester fell 60-51 to Northfield in the consolation game of the Wabash County Tournament Thursday. The Lady Squires are now 5-10.
Kim Schroll scored a career-high 18 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Brookelynn Buzzard had 16 points and five steals. Manchester heads to Churubusco Wednesday for a nonconference game.

Warsaw at Al Smith Invitational
Warsaw's wrestlers were busy on Thursday as combatants in the 43rd annual Al Smith Invitational at Mishawaka High School.
The Tigers were well represented on the mat in the state's premier individual tournament - loaded with many of the top teams in Indiana.
At the end of day 1, the Tigers landed in the 25th spot of the 32-team field.
Jaxson Cooper Walters put together a solid 3-1 performance in the 182-pound bracket and qualified for the placement rounds on Friday. Walters finished on the podium in sixth place in the prestigious event.
In addition to Walters' impressive day, Warsaw had four other wrestlers pick up at least two wins to pick up team points and advance through the brackets.
At 126 pounds, Isaiah Martinez was just one match short of placement, and went 3-2 with all three wins coming by pin.
Danny Moon battled through a loaded 152-pound field to finish the day at 2-2 with both wins coming by pinfall.
Nathaniel Rosas bounced back from an early loss to the 1-seed at 195 to finish 2-2 with both wins coming by major decision.
Isaac Beam traded wins and losses at 220 to finish at 2-2 with both wins coming by pin.
Other Tigers picking up wins during the tournament were: Drake Shilling, Aaron Ross, Aiden Lozier, and Gideon Castro.
