Warsaw Volleyball Defeats Carroll

WARSAW – Warsaw volleyball took down No. 19 ranked Fort Wayne Carroll Tuesday, winning 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-23. The Tigers are now 14-10 this season.

Kylie Smith led Warsaw with five aces and eleven digs. Avery Hales finished with 37 assists. Kaylee Weeks led the Tigers offense, finishing with 19 kills.

Warsaw plays its next game at home against Wawasee Thursday.



Whitko Volleyball Falls To Wabash

WABASH – Whitko volleyball was defeated in straight sets by Wabash Tuesday night, falling 18-25, 14-25, 21-25. The Lady ‘Cats record falls to 7-15 this fall.

Madison Cripe had 22 serve receptions, Audra Brandenburg had 5 kills, Gwen Howard and Brandenburg each had a block, and Katelyn Cripe had 9 digs.

Whitko takes on Southern Wells Thursday for Pink Out Night.



Tippecanoe Valley Volleyball Defeats Culver Community

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley volleyball took down Culver Community in straight sets, winning the game 25-10, 25-19, 25-18. The Lady Vikings move their record to 13-6 this season.

Mallory Durkes led Tippy Valley on offense, securing 12 kills in the match. She also led the team with three blocks. Macy Kirchenstein led the team with 30 assists and both Brayden Baney and Erika Henderson had four aces.

The Lady Vikings are back in action Thursday against Northfield.



Triton Volleyball Extends Win Streak To Nine

BOURBON – Triton Volleyball extended its winning streak to nine games after a straight set victory over Winamac Tuesday. The Trojans are now 15-3 this season.

Triton hasn’t lost since September 4th, a 3-1 loss to Culver Academies. The Trojans will look to increase their win streak to double digits Thursday when they take on LaVille.



Manchester Boys Soccer Defeats Lakeland Christian

WINONA LAKE – Manchester boys soccer defeated Lakeland Christian 3-0 Tuesday. The Squires move to 7-4 this season while the Cougars fall to 3-7.

Manchester got on the board early, with Tyler McClain scoring in the 16th minute. A pair of Michael Ortiz goals, one in the first half and one in the second, were more than the Squires needed to secure the victory. Brandon Weirick made ten saves in net for Lakeland Christian.

LCA takes on Tippecanoe Valley Thursday, and Manchester meets with Mississinewa Wednesday.
