NORTH MANCHESTER – Led by medalist Kelsey Eichenauer, the Manchester Lady Squires beat the Wawasee Lady Warriors by 15 strokes Monday at Sycamore Golf Club.

Eichenauer carded a 43 for Manchester, leading the Lady Squires to a four-person team score of 183. Jadison Rostochak led Wawasee with a 47.

“I was very pleased with the growth in swings we had today,” said Manchester coach Josh Troyer. “We still have room to grow, and that is the best part.

“I’m proud of the of the girls’ commitment to growing in all areas of their game. We will continue to invest in our lives and how that impacts us athletically as well.”

Sam Kissell shot 45 for Manchester, while Madyson Ulrey and Cora Barnett carded a 47 and 48, respectively.

Alissa Bickerstaff (63) and Morgan Stroud (64) rounded out Manchester’s lineup.

Lesley Tayagua shot 49 for Wawasee, while Belle Brunner and Ava Harker both finished at 51. Valerie Haessig and Taylor Cripe shot 53 and 55, respectively.

Wawasee is in action again Wednesday against West Noble and Whitko.

The Lady Squires play Columbia City at Eagle Glen today.

Lady Tigers 3rd In Canterbury Invite

FORT WAYNE – Falling to a pair of ranked teams, the Warsaw Lady Tigers finished third in the Canterbury Invitational Monday at Chestnut Hills.

Fourth-ranked Homestead won with a 299, followed by No. 14 NorthWood at 327 and Warsaw at 368. Carroll finished fourth with a four-person team score of 388.

NorthWood freshman Cybil Stillson was the medalist after shooting 2-under par 70.

Miriam Hagg led the Lady Tigers with an 86, followed by Grayson Kilburn’s 91. Julia Hildebrand shot 93 and Izzy Ray and Madelyn Ray rounded out the Warsaw lineup with 98s.

The Lady Tigers host Rochester and Triton Thursday at Stonehenge.

Triton Beats Whitko, N. Miami

NORTH MANCHESTER – Paced by consistent scores, Triton’s varsity girls golf team pulled out a one-stroke win over Whitko Monday at Sycamore Golf Club.

Alysha May led Triton with a 54, as the Lady Trojans edged Whitko 231-232. Delanie Groves and Maddie Ritchison shot 55 and 56, respectively, for the Trojans while Samantha Edington shot 66.

Erin Starkweather led Whitko with a 56, while Bailey Wright and Guinny Garry both shot 57 and Lilly Owsley rounded out the scoring with a 62. Summer West carded a 63.

North Miami shot 268.

Lakeland Christian Academy’s Abby Fishel played as an individual and was the match medalist with a score of 44.

Triton will play Rochester and Warsaw Thursday at Stonehenge.

Whitko is in action again Wednesday against West Noble and  Wawasee at South Shore.
