An offensive explosion led to a win in Manchester’s final regular season game Tuesday night as the Squires defeated Fort Wayne Wayne 18-13 on the road. Manchester is now 11-14 this season.
Gavin Martin had a great day at the plate, going 4-5 with two doubles, a home run and four runs scored. Ethan Hendrix also had a big night, driving in four runs and hitting a double and a triple. Reiss Gaerte went 3-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.
The Squires take on Rochester Saturday afternoon at Wabash in the team’s first sectional game.
