DUNLAP – Allissa Flores, Meghan Fretz and Danielle Gunkel each had doubles, with Fretz adding two runs batted in and Flores driving in another in visiting Wawasee’s 4-1 win over Concord Wednesday.
The win was the 13th in 14 tries for the Northern Lakes Conference champion Lady Warriors.
Amber Lemberg pitched six innings, allowing one run and striking out three. Fretz pitched the seventh inning and struck out two. Neither pitcher issued a walk.
The Lady Warrior junior varsity also won, 8-5 over Concord. Bethany Flannery homered in the game.
Now 22-4 on the season, Wawasee travels to Bremen to wrap up the regular season Friday.
