LCA Gets Road Win

WINAMAC – Trailing 1-0 on the road with less than 10 minutes remaining, Lakeland Chriatian Academy scored twice in the match’s final minutes, including the winner with fewer than two minutes to go for a 2-1 boys soccer win at Winamac Tuesday.

Brayden Lane got the equalizer off an assist from Andrew Bosch in the 72nd minute. Six minutes later, Bosch found Garrett McKeever for the winner in the 78th minute.

Peter Koller was credited with eight saves on the night.

“Tonight we showed great resilience, we could have packed it in and took the loss, however the heart of this team wouldn’t allow us to quit,” Cougar head coach Dan Miller said. “Freshman Andrew Bosch played two beautiful passes that allowed Brayden and Garrett to finish on goal to give us the comeback win. We got better from this game, and I’m proud of this team.”
