Class of 2020

Adam Harman is a 1996 graduate of LCA.  He was a member of Lakeland Christian’s ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) State Soccer Championship team his sophomore and junior seasons.  In both his junior and senior years, he was named to the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference All-Conference Second Team.  Adam was a member of the ACSI State Championship basketball teams his junior and senior years.  His senior year, the team advanced to the ACSI Midwest Regional Basketball Championship, where they defeated Faith Christian School of Wisconsin to win the title.

Andy Goss was inducted in to the Hall of Fame for ‘Meritorious Service’ to the LCA athletic department.  Goss, who saw three daughters graduate from LCA, has volunteered hundreds of hours at practices and games for over 20 years.  The scope of his work is wide, and includes everything from scorebook keeper to bus driver.  Other jobs include: concessions worker, ball runner, gate keeper, scout, referee, scoreboard operator, bus maintenance and game management.  Andy is much appreciated at LCA and continues to volunteer his time at athletic events!

Class of 2021

 Craig Wilson, a 2005 alumni, was a four-year starter in both soccer and basketball.  He helped lead the Cougars to ACSI State Soccer Championships all four years of high school.  His sophomore, junior and senior seasons, Craig was a member of the NACA (National Association of Christian Athletes) Soccer Championship team in Dayton, TN., and was named to the NACA All-Tournament Team his junior and senior campaigns.  In basketball, Craig was LCA’s point guard, leading the team in assists three of four seasons, and to the ACSI State Championship game three years, winning the title his final two seasons.

Jamie Duchane graduated from LCA in 2010, lettering in soccer, basketball and track, all four years of high school.  When numbers didn’t support a girls’ soccer team, Jamie started on the boys’ team her junior and senior seasons.  During her senior soccer season, she was a member of LCA’s ICST (Indiana Christian School Tournament) State Championship boys’ team and was named to the NISC (Northern Indiana Soccer Conference) All-Conference Second Team.  On the hardcourt, Jamie started on the basketball team, which advanced to the ICST Final Four her sophomore and senior seasons.  Jamie was twice recognized as Most Outstanding Female Track and Field Athlete at the NCSAA (National Christian School Athletic Association) Regional Meet, and helped lead the LCA girls’ team to the NCSAA Division 1 Championship her final season.  She is still LCA’s 100M hurdle and 300M hurdle record holder.  Jamie went on to play soccer at Huntington University, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.
