WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy inducted two alumni into its Athletic Hall of Fame during its ninth annual induction ceremony.

Keely King, a 2008 graduate, played soccer and basketball for the Cougars from 2004-08. She scored 51 goals and tallied 33 assists, while being named a second-team All-Northern Indiana Soccer Conference selection in 2006. 

King had a career total of 1,054 points on the basketball court and was named LCA’s Senior Athlete of the Year. She led the Lady Cougars to a runner-up finish at the Midwest Regional for Christian Schools and Home Schools in Cincinnati in 2008. 

Miller, a 1996 graduate, played soccer and basketball. 

He was a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Soccer State Championship team from 1993-94, and was named second-team All-Northern Indiana Soccer Conference in 1995. 

Miller was a member of the ACSI basketball state championship teams form 1995-96, and led the Cougars to a 23-0 record and ASCI Midwest Regional title in 1996. 

As a soccer coach, he led the Cougars to two Indiana Christian School Tournament Series championships.

Miller is currently LCA’s boys soccer coach, and has racked up 51 wins in three seasons.
