In an effort to accommodate schedules, Warsaw AKtion Club will have two meetings this month, both on Tuesday. An afternoon meeting will run from 3 to 4 p.m. and an evening meeting from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the YMCA and are open to anyone interested in learning more about the club.

AKtion Club is a social service club for adults with developmental disabilities who want to make a difference in our community. It is part of the Kiwanis family of clubs that includes Key Club for high school students, and Circle K for college students. AKtion Club members lead the club, propose and vote upon projects they will undertake, and take turns leading projects. They also gather for social activities and join with other Kiwanis Club members for activities and meetings.

The May meeting agenda will center around discussion of the service projects the club will take on this year. Attendees, including first-time guests, are encouraged to come with ideas to propose to the group.

For questions, contact club advisors: Anne Petre of the YMCA at 574-269-9622 or Michelle Boxell of Warsaw Kiwanis at 574-371-1387.
