A second single-vehicle accident over the weekend claimed the life of a Milford man.
Jeremy Ray Weaver, 41, Milford, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle collision west of Syracuse at about 3 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team, Weaver was driving a 2017 Ford C-Max west on CR 1300N prior to the accident. For an unknown reason, the Ford crossed the center line, exited the south side of the road and hit a fence, fatally injuring Weaver, a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office stated.
Weaver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
Responding agencies included the KCSO, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office, Turkey Creek Fire Territory and Milford Fire Department.
A single-vehicle accident at 2:36 p.m. Friday east of CR 300W on CR 1350N claimed the life of Marie Grace Anglemyer, 25, of Nappanee. A 5-year-old child was injured in that crash but in stable condition as of Friday.
