A Pierceton man was arrested after allegedly trying to meet up with what he believed to be an underage girl for sex at a school.

Tyler James Sicks, 20, of 11545 W. CR 200S-57, Pierceton, is charged with child solicitation, a Level 4 felony.

He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 1:16 a.m. Saturday on a $15,250 preliminary bond.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on Saturday, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a complaint in regards to a man soliciting a 12-year-old at a school. Upon arrival to the scene, the deputy met with Sicks. The deputy asked what was going on and Sicks responded he messed up.

When asked to clarify, Sicks said he met a girl on a dating app where they discussed sexual topics and meeting up for sex. Sicks said the girl gave her name and age. He said he was nervous about the girl being a minor, but he got desperate. Sicks allegedly admitted to driving to the school with the intention of engaging in sexual activity with a girl he believed to be a minor.

The deputy also spoke with a man who said he was a member of Bikers Against Predators. The man said Sicks came to the school to meet and have a sexual encounter with a underage girl. The man said he had posed as a girl on the dating app. He said Sicks was communicating with Bikers Against Predators, specifically the man posing as the underage girl.

The man said while on the app, the man talked with Sicks and Sicks asked to meet up and have a sexual encounter. Sicks believed the man to be an underaged girl. The man said he had copies of the conversation between his organization and Sicks and was willing to turn them over to law enforcement, according to court documents.

Through his investigation, the deputy learned on Friday, Sicks entered into a conversation with the person he believed to be an underage girl. In the conversation, Sicks sent explicit photos. Sicks was asked how old he was. Sicks responded with his age, where the man acting as the girl gave an age. The encounter was set up in that conversation, according to court documents.

When Sicks arrived at the school, he approached a female decoy and was confronted by the man, who was broadcasting the meeting on social media.
