An update to the CR 300N and Sheldon Street intersection improvement project was provided Tuesday by Phend & Brown Inc.

Phend & Brown, Milford, is the contractor and engineer for the city of Warsaw project.

The following schedule of activities is provided to highlight major activities. Changing weather conditions and/or internal schedule changes may alter the dates below. Traffic control signage and detour markings will be provided in advance of and during any closure.

Phase 1 will take place on or after today.

• 300N will be closed from Escalade Way West to the Tippecanoe River Bridge.

• Sheldon Street will be closed north and south of 300N with no access through the intersection.

• Tippe Downs Drive will be closed with no access to 300N.

• Local traffic for residents on 300N will have access only from the west end of the project at the river bridge.

Work is expected to progress starting with the installation of new storm sewer main and inlets from the outlet on the west end of the project east to the new intersection. Following that will be existing road removal, grading, concrete work, paving, new walking trail and round-a-bout construction.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes due to anticipated traffic delays, the release states..

Project completion is anticipated to be in November.
