Josh Lozano Announces Run For County Council
Staff Report
Friday, January 21, 2022 7:02 PM
Josh Lozano
Kosciusko County native Josh Lozano announced his run for Kosciusko County Council. Lozano will be running as a Republican to replace Ernie Wiggins for District 3.
He will face County Coroner Tony Ciriello and Scott Clay in the May primary.
Lozano works as an operational training director for Aludyne, a worldwide automotive die casting corporation, according to a news release from Lozano. He uses both his background in education and his experience in lean manufacturing to consult in areas of teaching, training, employee retention and continuous improvement.
Josh and his wife, Stephanie, will be celebrating eight years of marriage in July and are both lifelong residents of the Warsaw-Winona Lake area. Together, they have three young boys and are members of Christ’s Covenant Church in Winona Lake.
As a former pastor and educator, Lozano loves to engage with people throughout the community and to participate in Kosciusko County’s many family-oriented events, the release states.
Although Lozano is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and competitor, he desires to take on a different kind of fight for the parents and families in his district who often feel underrepresented by their government.
Lozano’s campaign intends to emphasize personal liberty, strong families and government accountability, according to his news release.
For more information about Lozano, search Facebook for “Josh Lozano for Kosciusko County Council District 3” or call 574-265-5097.
