The First Annual Savor Kosciusko event begins today, March 25, and will run through Sunday, April 2.

Savor Kosciusko is a 2023 Kosciusko Leadership Academy (KLA) White Paper Project. Since 1982, KLA has invested in the emerging leaders of Kosciusko County; people who possess a passion to serve and the courage to lead others, according to a news release provided. The KLA experience culminates with a White Paper Project. KLA cadets form teams and research relevant community issues and needs.

The Savor Kosciusko team members include Josh Silveus, Silveus Insurance Group; Lauren Klusman, Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce; Bennett Hollar, Hollar Dental Group; and Brian Runkel, Instrumental Machine and Development.

During the week, diners can visit participating restaurants for specially priced, featured menu items. Participating restaurants include Boondock’s “Home of Peterson’s Famous Fish,” Brew City Roasting Company, Cerulean Restaurant, Courthouse Coffee on the Square, HopLore Brewing Company – Market Street, HopLore Brewing Company – The Mill, Igloo Ice Cream Shop, Ledgeview Brewing Company, Light Rail Café & Roaster, Mad Anthony’s Lake City Tap House, Noa Noa, Oak & Alley, ONE TEN Craft Meatery, Rex’s Rendezvous, Shawnanigans, The Pier & Back Porch at Oakwood, The Pub at Stonehenge and Warsaw Donuts.
