County and local law enforcement agencies participating in the Kosciusko County Traffic Safety Partnership include the Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce.

The DUI Taskforce will continue to conduct roving patrols and sobriety checkpoints during the month of April. The project is made possible through grants received by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute Traffic Safety Division.

A sobriety checkpoint will be held from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday in the county.

The DUI Taskforce Indiana a yearlong, statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths and injuries, according to a news release.

Local law enforcement agencies involved include the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Mentone, Milford, Pierceton, Silver Lake, Syracuse, Warsaw and Winona Lake police departments.
