Kosciusko County Board of Zoning Appeals granted Lake City Bank an exception to allow a bank with drive-through capabilities on commercial property in Milford.

The move came during the BZA’s monthly meeting Tuesday morning.

The bank plans to construct a new building at the corner of Emeline and Higbee (Ind. 15) streets in Milford.

The Milford Town Council sent a letter of support for the project.

Chuck and Terry Rockhill, owners of Custom Fencing, 2844 S. CR 450W, Warsaw, were granted an exception to allow the construction of a sports practice facility on the company’s property. The location is on Ind. 25 at the intersection with South CR 450W.

Chuck Rockhill said the facility will be rented out to a variety of sports teams, and the facility will emphasize baseball and softball. The 112-foot by 60-foot building will have room for batting cages, and Rockhill said it will convert easily for basketball and volleyball as well. No timeline for construction has been set.
