Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw will celebrate its 52nd annual commencement ceremony Friday and will graduate nearly 2,200 students in Fort Wayne and Warsaw and award 2,800-plus degrees, certificates and technical certificates.

The graduation student speaker will be Leigh Williams, who is earning her Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Administration and an entrepreneurship certificate, according to a news release from Ivy Tech.

The ceremony will be at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave., Fort Wayne, at 7 p.m. Friday.

“This journey has not been easy, but I have remained focused on my goal,” says Williams. “With the love and support of my husband and family, I have finally been able to complete my degree. This has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling times of my life.”
