Correction: Aviation Board
Friday, October 19, 2012 7:46 AM
In Thursday’s edition of the Times-Union under the headline “Airport Hears About Savings In Electric Line Lowering Project,” the Warsaw Municipal Airport cannot lease a hangar owned by the city with a purchase option. The property must go up for bid if it is to be sold. Additionally the airport manager David Beall said that no airplane was diverted when the runway lights were not working. Also the circuit breaker for the lights was not the issue. The issue that needed to be fixed was a motherboard for the lights. The cost to order a motherboard for the lights is extremely expensive.
