Kyle Allen Johnson and Lisa Marie Dunaway, Muncie, were married Aug. 1, 2015, at the David Owsley Museum of Art on the Ball State University campus in Muncie, by Brad and Denise King.
She is the daughter of Pamela and George Dunaway, Oxford, Ohio. He is the son of Vicki and Jerry Johnson, Leesburg.
She has a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University and a Master's of Science in Natural Resources, with a specialization in Ecological Planning, from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. This month, she will begin her sixth year of employment at Ball State as an Instructor of Urban Planning. She is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED AP) with the United States Green Building Council. She is also on the Board of Directors of Muncie-Delaware Clean & Beautiful and the Indiana Chapter of the American Planning Association.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, also from Ball State University. He has been employed by Delaware County, Indiana for 14 years and is currently the Director of the Geographic Information Systems department. He is a certified GIS Professional from the Geographic Information Systems Certification Institute. He also serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Red-tail Land Conservancy, Indiana Geographic Information Council, Ball State University Natural Resources and Environmental Management Alumni Society, and is Chair of the Muncie Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
