10 Years:

A 20-month lawsuit against Warsaw Community School Corp. by two former employees has been settled. On April 18 the school board approved the settlement agreement with Janet Helton and Mary Scott. The school corporation will pay only a $5,000 deductible. The school corporation's insurance company, Indiana Insurance Co., will pay the undisclosed settlement.

25 Years:

Win-Some Women retreat, which begins Friday evening at the Wagon Wheel, will feature several area people. Speakers include Judy and Bill Reneker, owners of Reneker's Sports Shop and regional representatives of Aldersgate Marriage Encounter.

Taking the bus downtown just got easier. Kosciusko County residents will soon be able to wait at a bus stop for a ride on KABS and not have to call the bus service for a ride. This change is due to the agency going to fixed routes as of June 3. Kosciusko Area Bus Services Director Terry Klosowski reported the change to Kosciusko County Commissioners.

50 Years:

Miss Edith E. Augustine, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Augustine, Bourbon, is now employed in flight operations at the executive offices of the United Air Lines, Chicago. A 1965 graduate of Triton High School, she graduate from the Patricia Steven Career College where she majored in the airline career course.

75 Years:

Mrs. Arden Poor, Winona Lake, assisted by Mrs. Louis Breading, Warsaw, entertained the Warsaw Reading Club Monday night. Mrs. Winston Thomas, Leesburg, entertained the members of the Leesburg Reading Club at her home Monday evening.
