‘Back To Basics’ At Community Bible Church

Community Bible Church of Warsaw is going back to the basics in 2018.

Each Sunday will focus on the life of Jesus. Worshippers will be disciples who “come and see” in an effort to “follow Him.”

Ladies Bible Conference Planned This Weekend

PIERCETON — Bethel Baptist Church of Pierceton is planning a Bible conference for women Friday and Saturday.  

The video conference will feature messages and skits from the Revive17 Conference. The goal of the conference is to help women “make (God’s) love and truth visible, believable and beautiful to observers.”  

Sessions are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The conference will include the messages, skits, snacks, door prizes, lunch on Saturday and the book "Adorned." Cost is $20.

Sumralls Coming To River Worship Center Sunday

The River Worship Center will welcome pastors Steve and Diane Sumrall to the worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Steve and Diane are senior pastors at Christ Chapel of South Bend. They are the directors of the international aid ministry Feeding the Nations and Provident Ministries.   

A freewill offering will be received during the service.

Baked Steak Dinner Friday In N. Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER — North Manchester United Methodist Church is planning a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 19.

Cost for the dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. Carry-out will be available.

The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester.
