Community Meal Tuesday At Sacred Heart

A community meal will be offered in the gymnasium at Sacred Heart Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The meal this month will feature fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, sliced peaches, and a variety of desserts and fresh fruit.

This dinner is provided and served by Sacred Heart parishioners. There is no charge. Everyone is welcome.

Live Nativity Saturday At Magical Meadows

The story of the birth of Jesus will be re-enacted Saturday in “The Gift Goes On,” a live nativity at Magical Meadows.

The event, sponsored by Cowboy Church in the Meadows, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. There is no admission charge. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

A box will be available at the door for unwrapped gift donations that will go to a local family.

Magical Meadows is at 3386 E. CR 525N, Warsaw.

Sermon Series: ‘Is Your Life Too Busy?’

Warsaw Missionary Church is presenting “Is Your Life Too Busy?” at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The message of the series is “Learn the true meaning of Christmas and change your life.”

‘Blue Christmas’ Service About Holiday Grief

Spiritual counselor Barb ?Jarboe will lead a “Blue Christmas” service at 7 p.m. Dec. 21.

Jarboe says some people find it difficult to be in a holiday mood or celebrate the birth of Christ because they’re grieving the loss of a loved one. The Blue Christmas service will be a time to remember loved ones who have died.

The half-hour service will be in the chapel of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw. It is sponsored by Kosciusko ?Home Care and Hospice.
