Claypool UMC To Hold Sunday School

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Devotion study is held every Wednesday from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Guest speaker is Pat Lybarger on Sunday.

An open house for Don Shively's 100th birthday will be March 6 at Claypool UMC from 2 to 4 p.m.



God’s Highway To Hold Breakfast

God's Highway To Heaven, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

 The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.

Adults age 10 and up are $6.59, children 3 to 9 are $3 and 2 and under are free.



Herron To Continue Giving Message

MENTONE – The community is invited to join Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m., as Rev. Jeff Herron continues the series “Winning the MINDCRAFT  War” with “Clearing the MINDFIELD.”

The community is also invited to join the church on Ash Wednesday,  March 2, at 6 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 819 E. 9th St., Rochester, at 6 p.m. for a light meal and Ash Wednesday service.

The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.

On Wednesday nights, the church has its Feast & Fellowship program, which includes a light meal and a time of singing, worship and studying God’s word. It is held in the fellowship hall of the church.  All middle school and high school youth are invited to enjoy the meal and worship and then break off for their own time of learning and fellowship.  Feast & Fellowship will not meet on Ash Wednesday, March 2.

The church has a women’s Bible study at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Java Jacks.

Beaver Dam Announces Service Times

AKRON – There's a men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone.  Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.  All are welcome.

Youth girls Bible study is "The Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer on Saturdays at Kyle and Khrista's house. Senior high girls is Saturday at 11 a.m. Coffee, doughnuts and cookies will be provided.

On Sunday, service times at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, are at 9 and 10:31 a.m. with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

It’s birthday Sunday. The sermon is by Pastor Butch Troke. There will be an Italian-themed carry-in after second service and youth meeting until 1:30 p.m. Bible study is at 6 p.m.

Ash Wednesday is Wednesday. King's Kids Supper is at 6 p.m. with music, crafts and a Bible lesson from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is open to potty-trained preschool age to fifth grade. There’s no King's Kids if school is not in session.



New Beginnings Church To Hold Free Family Fun Night March 5

New Beginnings?Church and World Outreach, 741 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, will have a free family fun night March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Pizza, games and fellowship will be available.
