Sacred Heart To Hold Miracles Exhibit

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, will hold a Eucharistic Miracles From Around the World exhibit.

On Saturday, the exhibit opens at 3 p.m. A talk on Blessed Carlo Acutis will be at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit closes at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, the exhibit opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 5:45 p.m.

The exhibit will be held in the Sacred Heart gym. Enter through door #5.

The exhibit is free. All are welcome. Allow 20 to 40 minutes to view the exhibit.



Claypool To Hold Sunday School

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Devotion study is held every Wednesday from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.

On Dec. 19, there will be a Christmas program during church services.



Beaver Dam UMC To Hold Events

AKRON – Service times for Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, are 9 and 10:31 a.m. Sunday with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Sermon will be by Pastor Butch Troke.  

On Friday, the youth group Nerf Wars will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Saturday, there will be ringing the bells for the Salvation Army and Lake City Bank Akron from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday is the third Sunday of Advent.  Carry-in lunch and youth meeting will follow second service until 1:30 p.m. The preschool Christmas program will be held at Akron Elementary at 2 p.m.  Youth worship will be held at Akron from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the King's Kids Supper will be held at 6 p.m. followed by music, crafts and a Bible lesson until 7:30 p.m.



First?Brethren To Have Gift Basket Sale

Warsaw First Brethren Church, 1318 E. Center St., Warsaw, has been unable to have its annual holiday bazaar for the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The church will be having a gift basket sale on?Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. All the proceeds benefit the church.



Mentone UMC To Celebrate Advent

MENTONE – The community is invited to join Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m., as the church celebrates the third Sunday in Advent. Pastor Gail Law will present the message “Celebrate The Joy That Comes.”

The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, Mentone UMC offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.

On Wednesday nights, the church has its Feast & Fellowship program, which includes a light meal and a time of singing, worship and studying God’s word. It is held in the Fellowship Hall of the church. All middle school and high school youth are invited to enjoy the meal and worship and then break off for their own time of learning and fellowship.

Mentone UMC also has a women’s Bible study at 9 a.m. Wednesdays at Java Jacks.
