1st Church Of Christ To Have Talk
The public is invited to a free talk on Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. at First Church of Christ Scientist, 1011 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
The talk is titled, "Learn How to Pray and Heal, A Spiritual Adventure," given by Nathan Frederick, a Christian Science practitioner.

Beaver Dam UMC To Celebrate Veterans
AKRON – Service times for Beaver Dam United Methodist Church are 9 and 10:31 a.m. Sunday with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m. The sermon will be by Pastor Butch Troke.
Today, youth group will meet at Akron United Methodist Church from 7 to 10 p.m.
Sunday, Veteran's Sunday will be celebrated.
Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and food pantry bags are due back.
Wheels on Fire Cancer Crusaders will be presenting checks to representatives from the Fulton and Kosciusko County Cancer Care groups, as well as Kim Waggoner with Project Hope.
Youth meeting following the 10:31 a.m. service until 1:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, King's Kids - Supper at 6 p.m. will be followed by music, crafts and Bible lesson until 7:30 p.m.
On Nov. 18, women's Bible study will meet at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Claypool UMC To Honor Veterans
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Devotions are from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday
Pastor Nelson's sermon will be "Remember."
Claypool UMC will be honoring beterans Sunday during church.
God’s Highway To Have Revival
A revival is today and Saturday at 7 p.m. at God’s Highway To Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw. The revival will be with Bill Summers from Indianapolis. On Sunday, Bill Summers and singers Heaven's Voice will perform at 6 p.m.
God's Highway To Heaven will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.
Adults age 10 and up cost $6, children 3 to 9 are $3 and 2 and under are free.
Mentone UMC To Celebrate Veterans
MENTONE – The public is invited to join Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m., as Rev. Jeff Herron presents the message “The Triple Plan.” Mentone UMC will also celebrate veterans.
After the worship service at 11:30 a.m., a carry-in lunch, with chili will be provided. Bring a dish to share.
On Nov. 21, Mentone UMC will be having “Hanging of the Greens” in preparation for the coming advent season. After worship, at 11:30 a.m. there will be a quick lunch, with soup provided. Bring a snack to share.
The church offers an early bird adult Sunday school class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.
On Wednesday nights, the church has its Feast & Fellowship program, which includes a light meal and a time of singing, worship and studying God’s word. It is held in the fellowship hall of the church. All middle school and high school youth are invited to enjoy the meal and worship and then break off for their own time of learning and fellowship. Mentone UMC also has a women’s Bible study at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Java Jacks.
Mentone UMC is offering a four-week advent Bible study, “Who Needs Christmas”, beginning Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the home of Pastor Gail and Cindy Law. Space is limited. Contact the church at 574-353-7898 or Pastor Gail if you are interested.
